2022.01.18 14:32 Galaxy311 Where to start? Move from Excel to take advantage of power automate.

I have a fairly large excel spreadsheet that is currently hosted on Teams. Each row refers to a part investigation (claim). Each claim has data that is imported from a CSV with the base data, as the investigation proceeds, more data is collected and added to the record and a full accounting has about 100 columns by the end. There are also several sheets with lookup data to translate some of the information provided into something more relevant to the user (me).
My current process imports data provided in a CSV, reorganizes the data in a easier to read format and removes unnecessary data. The data is then imported into my working table and then I use some of the data to organize a folder structure, which is built via a simple macro. CSV imports usually contain 30-90 records and this saves me from creating 90 folders with a particular folder structure within. I then conduct the investigation (tests) and add the data collected as I go until the investigation is completed. I then take all the data collected and paste the data in a in a separate excel workbook that contains links to create a completed report that is saved as a PDF.
I'd like to do two things, move my file storage to sharepoint (the excel file is already there) and try to utilize power automate to streamline the process. The images of each report are all manually cropped, resized, and added to each part report in excel, this is very time consuming. There has to be a better way but I don't yet know where to start looking to do the research needed to begin the process. Can a sharepoint list contain this amount of data? The csv files I get have 3 basic types of products that all have different properties and different tests, so the single csv would likely need to populate different lists based on the product type.

2022.01.18 14:32 hippo008 Get out while you can or Unionize. Please dont work for AutoZone.

I worked at the Zone for a little over one year. I went from Red shirt to grey shirt to commercial specialist to opening my own commercial program as the CSM. I was taken advantage of at every turn by corporate management. I quit for greener pastures over two years ago now and I am so happy I did. Please, get out of AutoZone before you get wrapped up in the nonsense and bullshit. Here are some specifics of what happened.
From day 0 of my employment I was not to work Saturday or Sunday. I would work any time on any other day but not those days as I spent time with family on the weekend. I forced the DM to put it in writing before I even started. I would be scheduled nearly every Saturday until I showed my signed notice from the DM saying I wasnt to work weekends.
My healthcare plan only covered 70% of my costs and had a $4000 deductible. God forbid you get sick and need coverage you will need to shell out big bucks for bad coverage.
I was tricked into store setup with just one blue-shirt setup employee. When the new store was opening where I was to become a CSM I was told the store would be complete on my first day. I walk into what should have been my first day to a completely empty building. We spent the next two months buildings out a store with just four people.
I was told to cover an additional commercial program while another employee went on medical leave. When my peer went on leave (without pay mind you) I was told I would need to cover their program. No extra pay, no extra bonus structure and no extra benefits but I would be responsible for the Commercial P&L of another store.
We didnt have heat in the winter for over 1 month. We requested service to come and fix it but it took multiple attempts to get somebody to come out. When a few us of refused to work we were told we would get pointed if we didnt show up.
I had one of my drivers do burnouts in a company vehicle in front of the store in a crowded parking lot but not get fired. I was responsible for the damage to the vehicle. The same driver had an angry outburst and smashed the touchscreen display in the same truck after being reprimanded. He wasnt fired and my P&L took another hit.
Fast food restaurant chains near my store were all hiring at $15/hr+ for entry level workers but full time grey shirts were being hired at $14.25/hr. Why work harder for less money? Regional management refused to budge on the wages and we lost more than half of our staff right before I quit.
These people do not care about you and your career. You are being taken advantage of if you work for AutoZone. Please get out while you can and move onto a company with better policies and employee relations.

2022.01.18 14:32 Intimider I can’t connect to the Internet via Ethernet cable on my Bobcat. What’s the problem?

It seems that I can’t connect my miner through the Ethernet cable. I checked if it works overall and it works fine when connected to my laptop. But when I plug it into the Bobcat miner, it’s not getting any response. From my understanding it’s supposed to show a blinking Amber light - which it doesn’t. I tried to turn it off for a few minutes and plug it back in but it didn’t work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

2022.01.18 14:32 IvanLasston Diet and Gout (Why I don't have recommendations) (long)

TL;DR - diet is a large factor in health but trying to get a recommendation from the internet will probably land you on someone's supplement page buying expensive pills.
Let's start with my baseline understanding of gout.
Why Does a Gout attack Stop?
TL;DR - your blood serum uric acid levels are above6.8mg/DL. Uric acid combines with water and sodium to form Monosodium Urate crystals. When you flare your immune system attacks those crystals. When you stop flaring - the crystals don't go away - they seem to get "sheathed" so that your immune system is no longer attacking them. Also crystals can be forming even though you aren't flaring. Have this go on long enough you end up with gout tophi.
Follow the logic on that. You stop flaring and the crystals are still there. All of a sudden you stub your big toe - thus disturbing the crystals - boom gout flare. You take a vaccine that activates your immune system (and if you look at the COVID vaccine the spikes activate the cytokine response which is what seems to be what triggers gout flares too) - boom a gout flare. You hop on Uric Acid lowering medication - and the crystals start dissolving - exposing them again to the immune system - boom a gout flare. Lastly - which is what most people come on here to talk about - you eat something that is inflammatory to you and boom a gout flare.
I think the big mistake people make when first encountering a gout flare is that this disease comes and goes with crystals coming and going. It comes and goes with the immune system response to crystals that don't go away. Hence until you deal with the underlying condition - the flaring will get worse, happen more often, and will start to "move" (crystals form everywhere) around your body.
Why I don't have dietary recommendations
The first thing you see when searching for a gout friendly diet is to decrease your purine intake. This article is an example.
Note that even this article says 2/3 of the purines in your body are endogenous. Meaning to say even if you cut out all purines in your diet you would still have a large amount of purines in your blood. My second issue with all this is there is still this idea that everything you eat becomes exactly that in your body.
For example eat high cholesterol and you'll have high cholesterol in your blood. Eat high fat and you will will become fat. There are more and more studies that countermand this. See ketoscience
If this were true then why are some ingested purines OK while others are not?
So meat is bad but plants are good ? I thought it was purines? Which comes to my point if it were just purine consumption then plant purines are the same chemical - so there are other factors involved and I haven't seen anything conclusive on what those factors are.
A counter point to meat being bad
If you go to YouTube and search for Dr Berry, Dr Berg, Dr Fung - you'll find videos and their anecdotal evidence that following a low carb high fat diet along with intermittent fasting could help with inflammatory disease as well as obesity. This also flies in the face of most current dietary recommendations. If you search for Michelle Hurn and The Dietitian's Dilemma you'll see a registered Dietitian's issue on offering other food solutions that aren't the standard food pyramid - within the current system.
Anecdotally - I have been eating keto for the better part of a year and lost 70lbs as well as dropped my UA levels from 5.5mg/dL to 4.5mg/dL. This is mainly eating read meat, fish(I love anchovies), shell fish, pork (bacon!), eggs and cheese/dairy, no grains and trying to avoid polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs). I also eat a lot of green vegetables to help fill me up. Also my cholesterol and blood pressure have gone to within normal ranges. Sample size = 1 so very bad to make any recommendations off of me and my body.
Why I have no recommendations on diet part 2
When I first started flaring I followed the normal recommendations. I ate chicken, white fish, stayed away from red meat - and then I flared by drinking beer. That is when I connected my flaring to gluten. I then started staying away from gluten which seemed to help with the flaring.
I also can't say that a restrictive keto diet will work for everyone. Anecdotally I know of 2 people that had their cholesterol shoot way up when following keto - but it wasn't clear to me if it was clean keto or dirty keto or what other factors are involved.
There are plenty of people on the internet touting a vegetarian or vegan diet. Anecdotally this diet never worked for me because there is a lot of grain and gluten involved. Gluten was one of my inflammation triggers and the most success I had with healthy eating was staying away from grains. When I went vegetarian I had IBS - but didn't realize it until I went keto and found what normal bowels feel like. Again obviously I can't say going veg/vegan will affect someone adversely like it did me - and plenty of people have had success going vegetarian or vegan.
One person's trigger food is another person's safe food.
See the vegetarian comment above. Pork never affected me - but plenty of people report having really bad flares after bacon. Drinking alcohol and sugar seem to set off flares for a lot of people. I haven't found anything scientific that shows statistically significant changes in flaring by eating or avoiding certain foods other than staying away from purines. (Feel free to point out studies that you've found) There are some newer studies that recommend staying away from sugar - specifically fructose.
Anecdotally if it were pure purines from meat - then why did my UA levels drop by eating a lot of red meat?
There have been some studies on anti-inflammatory foods - like tart cherry. The problem with tart cherry is I don't think there have been studies on the extract - and if you drink the juice - it is high in sugar and expensive. Tumeric has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties and may help with other inflammatory issues. But if you go back to how gout works - you are treating the immune system response with these supplements. Until you hold down your uric acid levels below 6mg/dL - you aren't treating the underlying cause of gout only the immune system reaction to the crystals.
What does UA lowering treatment mean for diet?
To treat the underlying cause of gout you need to dissolve the crystals that have formed in your joints and tissues. This means keeping and holding your blood serum UA levels below 6mg/dL. If you think about this - then you would need to monitor your UA levels when you ate and make sure that you didn't fluctuate up higher than 6mg/dL so that the crystals can dissolve. With the UA lowering medication it is months to years before the crystals fully dissolve. Anecdotally I still flared 6 months after holding my UA levels at 5.5mg/dL. I've heard of longer. Because this takes so long - this is not a diet where you can have a cheat meal - or a cheat week or anything like that. You fluctuate back up and you have a chance to add to the crystals instead of dissolving them - as well as any inflammatory foods causing a flare.
If anyone has a statistically significant study showing foods that actually lower UA levels - I'd be interested in seeing it.
TL;DR recommendation - lower your UA levels to dissolve the crystals. Stop gout flares at the source.

2022.01.18 14:32 Recent_Product_4187 employer did not sign me up for health insurance, HR being non-responsive [NJ]

I am a new employee, signed up for health insurance in December for January, even messaged someone from HR to make sure everything was in order and they said it was. Cut to last week, when I realized I was not signed up for health insurance. HR has this ServiceNow feature I have to message requests through, and they have been completely nonresponsive about me signing up for insurance. I think this is because I am not a C-suite level employee. I would like this fixed, like, yesterday, because I have a prescription I need to refill and the whole situation is giving me anxiety.
How do I make someone listen to me? I also tried to send emails to people at HR outside of ServiceNow, and got no response. I even CCed my manager on one of the emails, but nothing.
How do I get insured? And if I'm eligible for some kind of compensation, how do I get that? Please help!
